Located in downtown Detroit, Atheneum Suite Hotel is surrounded by some of the city’s best attractions and eateries. The building was once the warehouse of the historic Dexter Mason Ferry seed company before being converted into a hotel. Architectural details of the original building, like the many columns, can still be seen today, especially in the restaurant and some of the suites. The interiors by Olon Interior blend atmospheres from different regions of the world, reflecting Detroit’s dynamism, as demonstrated by some of the Potocco furnishings chosen for their sophisticated design. The sinuous Miura chairs and stools and Yoisho lounge chairs chosen for the communal spaces are perfect examples, along with the Lena club chair, a classic with a modern, minimalist twist.
