This page describes the purposes for which we process your personal data on our website, along with a description of the legal bases on which this processing is lawful. Remember that personal data means any information that can be attributed to you.
1. Who is the Data Controller

2. What Personal Data We Collect and Process
a) Website usage and analysis data. When you visit this website, we collect certain information about the devices you use and how you use the website. The data are acquired mainly through the use of technical and analysis cookies. For more information on the cookies used, please consult the Cookie Policy.
b) Data provided voluntarily by the user. When using the functions of the site and/or through the contact channels, it is possible that users may communicate personal data to us.
3. For What Purposes We Process Personal Data and What is the Legal Basis
a) Information and contacts. Through the contact channels on the site it is possible to communicate with us and ask us for information by e-mail or telephone. The data collected, such as contact details and the content of communications, will be used exclusively to respond to the requests received.

b) "Work with us" area. If you intend to apply for a job position, you can send us your CV using the appropriate form. We will process the information contained in your CV and the information you provide to us in order to evaluate your application.

c) Registration and access to the Reserved Area. On the site it is possible to create your own account to access our reserved area and use the related services. For this purpose, we will process certain personal data such as first name, last name, email and authentication credentials.

d) Newsletter. On the site you can register for our newsletter, to receive periodic communications and promotions regarding our products and activities. You can object to the receipt of these communications and unsubscribe at any time.
Legal basis: The data (e-mail address) will be processed exclusively on the basis of the user's consent, which can be revoked at any time.
e) Targeted advertising and targeting. There are also some third-party plug-ins and cookies on the site that allow users who visit the website to be tracked in order to present advertisements and optimize their relevance based on the user's browsing preferences.

f) Operation of computer systems and security. We use systems that allow us to better manage our site and its security, which may result in the acquisition of personal data such as the user's IP address or information relating to the devices used.

4. Nature of Data Provision
The provision of the information required for the purposes referred to in point 3 lett. (a), c) and f) is necessary. Failure to provide information would prevent us from responding to your requests, registration and access to our reserved area as well as would not allow navigation on our site.
The provision of the information required for the purposes referred to in point 3 lett. d) and e) is optional. At any time you have the possibility to object to the processing by unsubscribing from the mailing list or changing your preferences through the cookie banner.
The provision of the information required for the purposes referred to in point 3 lett. (b) is optional. You are free to send us your CV or not, but if you do not do so, we will not be able to evaluate your application for a job position at our company.
5. How Long We Keep Your Data
Data received in the context of requests for information will be stored for the time necessary to respond.
Account data will be retained until you request deletion.
Contact details relating to newsletters will be stored in internal lists until consent is revoked by the data subject.
Your CV will be kept for a maximum period of 36 months and then deleted.

6. Processing Methods and Recipients
Personal data will be processed by the staff in charge, suitably trained and operating under the authority and responsibility of the Data Controller. Some of the information may be communicated, exclusively for the purposes specified above, to the following subjects:
- IT systems assistance and maintenance companies or suppliers of computer storage systems;
- Other subjects or companies that carry out activities instrumental to the purposes indicated above on behalf of the Data Controller;
- Cookie service providers and similar systems (see Cookie Policy).
A detailed list of all recipients is available at the Data Controller's headquarters and will be provided upon request.
7. Rights Provided for by Law
European data protection law ("GDPR") provides a number of rights you can exercise to take control of your data. To exercise your rights, you can write to info@potocco.it. We are required to get back to you within 30 days of receiving your request, and we will try to be as fast as possible!
Right of access
You have the right to obtain information regarding the processing of personal data concerning you, obtain access to and copy them, including by means of commonly used electronic means. We are committed to providing you with an account of the data we hold about you, such as your personal data, contact details, or requests that you have received from us via contact form or email.
Right to rectification
You have the right to obtain the updating, integration or correction of your data. If you believe that your data is incorrect or outdated in any way, please contact us - we will do our best to resolve the matter.
Right to portability
If you wish, you may request the portability of your data processed due to the performance of the contract or on the basis of your consent.
Right to erasure
If you have an interest in doing so, you have the right to request the deletion of your data. We want to put you in control of your data. In some cases you can ask us to cancel directly, and we will take care of it as soon as possible. However, please note that not all data can be deleted upon request, as it may be necessary to comply with legal obligations or because it is still in use.
Right to restriction and objection
You have the right to request the restriction of processing or to object, in whole or in part, to the processing of personal data concerning you, including for marketing purposes. When you request the restriction of processing, we are obliged to suspend, for a certain period, any further processing of your data. When you decide to object to processing, you can unilaterally decide to opt-out of a certain type of processing of your data, for example to deactivate analysis cookies.
If you believe that one or more processing activities carried out by us may be in violation of the law, or you believe that your rights have not been protected, you can send a complaint to the Supervisory Authority of the place where you habitually reside, work or where the alleged violation occurred. In Italy, it is possible to contact the Privacy Authority.
