MSC Euribia
MSC Crociere
Year: 2023
Architect: De Jorio
Euribia is MSC Cruises’ new ship named after the Greek goddess who mastered the sea, harnessing winds and constellations. The ship has also added an important record to its name, operating the world’s first net zero greenhouse gas emissions cruise, using liquified natural gas. Euribia’s interiors by De Jorio Design, which boasts more than 60 years of experience in ship interior design, express a surprising variety of styles inspired by Italian taste and the world’s different cultures. Sustainability and Italian flair are themes dear to Potocco, who contributed to the project with its Lena chairs by Gabriele and Oscar Buratti. These comfortable lounge chairs near the sofa in the cabins’ sitting area add a contemporary twist to classic club chairs. Their virtually stitch-free backrest features a groove that makes it perfect for two-material versions.
