Keel Light and Clue carpets

Collections' Preview 2022

Potocco continues its journey under the creative direction of Chiara Andreatti, who brings the new collections to life in a scenario where architecture dominates the spaces.

As in a theater, the objects are inserted into mystical colonnades, glass walls and water mirrors. Minimalist and rigorous backgrounds oppose the strong and impactful shapes and colors of the furnishings, while the natural light contributes, in an absolute formal rigor, to define the shapes’ character. A veil of water acts as stage for the new Keel family, in the Light version, while the new Clue Carpets follow the geometric shapes of the space.

Clue Carpets by Chiara Andreatti

Potocco presents for the first time in its long history a line of carpets designed by Chiara Andreatti.

The Clue Carpets collection, designed for the outdoors, was born as a trait d’union between seats and furnishing accessories. Braids in polypropylene yarn with different contrasts, sewn together with a vertical and concentric gait, create unprecedented circular graphics. From green and blue, to classic grey and beige, the rectangular shaped carpets mix with the round ones in a game of shapes suitable for the most diverse furnishing contexts. Versatility and resistance are key features of the collection. Available in different shades, these carpets are suitable to create elegant and multifaceted ambiences.

The hand-framed polypropylene yarn with which they are made is a hi-tech material with low environmental impact and 100% recyclable. Dyed using a special UV protector and antioxidants, these carpets are resistant to external agents such as sunlight, chlorine and stains.

Keel Light by Mario Ferrarini and Victor Vasilev

The Keel seating family, available in the chair, small armchair, armchair and stool (in two heights) versions, is presented in a new model.

The silhouette of the seat, which maintains its origins and inspiration from the nautical world, is revealed with even greater aesthetic and technical evidence.

The expansion of the Keel collection, born from the research between geometric rigor and organic sinuosity, is characterized by an underlying rigid shell painted acrylic for outdoor use, in the same color and fine embossing of the structure, exemplification of the industrialization process and in-depth research of the company.

Presented in both Indoor and Outdoor versions, the seats differ in the upholstery used and in the wood essences.

For the outdoors they are characterized by a backrest in solid Iroko wood, a seat padded in fire-retardant polyurethane foam covered in the outdoor fabrics as per collection and an underlying rigid shell painted acrylic for outdoor use, in anthracite, aval or in the new pearl white finish. For the indoor, the seating maintain the same composition, but the backrest is in solid ash wood, and the upholstery is in the indoor fabrics as per collection.
